Start with a gorgeous Swarovski™ crystal of your choice, form a bezel of beads around the crystal. Make a ‘knot’ of seed beads and connect the crystal. Create a necklace strap of twisted Ndebele (herringbone) and work a self embellished clasp or complete your necklace with a purchased clasp. Must know the peyote and be familiar with the Ndebele stitch. 6-hour class workshop available at this time. Kits below. Remember colors will vary according to computer screens.

Kit contents: Crystal, 3 or 4 mm bicone crystals, cylinder beads, seed beads; #11 & # 15, round crystal kits include Charlottes, thread, needles.

BeJeweled

Inspired by jewelry components of the Tudor period, BeJeweled© was born! Create your jeweled wonder by bezeling and layering Swarovski Rivoli™ crystals with metallic seed beads that will give you that expensive jewelry feel. Connect the components with links and loops of seed beads. With bicone or marguerite’ crystals embellish your masterpiece. Prerequisite: Knowledge of the peyote and brick stitch. Currently workshop only, a full day class. This piece will debut as a kit at Bead Fest in August 2012!

Sky's Jewel

Create this gorgeous, simple but elegant necklace with a Swarovski™ Rivoli crystal. Bead a bezel around the crystal, make connection loops, beaded circles and connect to tabs suspend from a necklace strap of Ndebele/herringbone stitch. This piece can dress up your tee-shirt and jeans or be worn for a night out on the town. Knowledge of peyote and Nedbele/herringbone stitch is a must. Remember colors will vary according to computer screens.
